Borrowing a library eBook is easy:

  1. Go the the library's eBook page.
  2. Select the books you want and log in with your library card number.
  3. Download the eBooks to your Kindle, Nook, iPad, computer, or other device.

  • Do I have to have a special eBook reader like a Kindle or Nook? No. You can read an eBook on a device you probably already own, like any computer or laptop, Windows or Mac. You can also read eBooks on an iPad or a smart phone like an iPhone, Android phone or Blackberry.
  • How many eBooks can I borrow at one time? You may borrow up to three eBooks at one time. Remember, you don’t have to come to the library to bring the book back or check out a new eBook, so it’s easy to get a new eBook as soon as you finish one.
  • How long can I keep an eBook? eBooks are loaned to you for two weeks (14-days.) At the end of the 14-days, the eBook is no longer available on your eReader.
  • What happens if an eBook is overdue? eBooks are never overdue. When the loan period ends, the book simply becomes unavailable on your eReader or other device. There will never be any late fees for eBooks.
  • What happens if I lose my reader with a library eBook on it? Don’t worry! You can’t lose an eBook. The eBook is only temporarily copied to your eReader. The original eBook is always safe at the library.
  • How do I return an eBook? eBooks are returned to the library automatically when the 14-day loan period ends. If you want to return an eBook before the end of the 14-day period, follow these directions.
