Get Library eBooks on your iPad or iPhone
You may borrow up to 3 eBooks at one time. eBooks are checked out for 14 days. When the 14 day period
ends, the eBook may still appear on your iPad or iPhone but you can’t open it. (If you want to return your eBook before the
14 days end, see step 8 on the back.)
To download library eBooks on your iPad or iPhone, you must have the free
Overdrive Media Console App
on your device.

- Open the
Overdrive Media Console App and select
Get Books, then Add a Library.

- Enter the
name of a library, a city or a zip code, then Search.
|
|
- Select
Iredell County Library from the results list.
|
|
- The
Iredell County Library will be added to your list of libraries. If you touch the star next to
the library name, the library will be added to your list of favorites libraries.

- Search or browse for an
eBook.
|
 |
- Select the book or books you
want.
|
 |
- Add the book to your cart.
Select Adobe EPUB eBook to read the book in the Overdrive App. (If you select the Kindle book,
you will need to install the Kindle App to read the book on your device.)

- When you are ready to
checkout, select Proceed to Checkout.
|
|
- Enter your library card
number.
|
|
- Select
Confirm check out.
|
 |
- Select
Download.
|
 |
- The book will appear in your
bookshelf.
|
 |
- Select the book from your
bookshelf and begin reading.
|
 |
- To return the book before the
end of the 14 day loan period, select the book to delete. Then select
Return the Delete. (Selecting Delete only will not return the book to the library, it
will only delete the book from your device.)
