Phyllis Bailey’s collection of photographs of African-American veterans is on display at the Iredell County Public Library in Statesville. Ms. Bailey spent years collecting the more than 600 photographs in this exhibit. She is currently updating her book, Iredell County African Americans Who Have Served Their Country, with additional photographs.
Ms. Bailey will discuss her work and have a book signing at the Iredell County Public Library in Statesville on Saturday, March 9 at 1:00 PM. She will have copies of her revised book available for purchase at the event.
