Youth Services Department at 704-878-3097 or 704-878-3108.
- Pre-School Storytimes are Wednesdays at 10:00 AM. These programs, filled with stories, action-rhymes, music, craft activities and more, are designed for children 3 to 5 years old. Younger siblings and friends are welcome to attend. A parent or caregiver must stay in the program room during the story-time. No prior sign-up is required.
- Lap-Sit Storytimes are Thursdays at 10:00 AM. These storytimes are recommended for our youngest group of listeners, from birth on up, and can include the whole family. Enjoy stories, music and fingerplays. These 20-minute active-participation programs are followed by puppet play.
- Group Storytimes are every first and third Wednesday at 9:00 AM. These programs, designed for school groups, consist of 30 minutes of stories, music and other activities. Teachers are encouraged to participate and join in the fun. Pre-registration is required.
- 1st Friday Flicks are shown the first Friday of each month at 10:00 AM. A new movie is featured each month. Movies are for ages 3 to 5 years old. A parent or caregiver must stay in the room during the movie. You are welcome to bring your own snack.
