Resiliency KitsResiliency kits contain items and toys that would be beneficial to adults recovering from loss of neurological or motor function, seniors, residents of nursing homes and assisted living facilities, and adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. They assist with stroke recovery, help battle dementia and Alzheimer's, and assist with dexterity and fine motor skills. Not only is this tool kit a cost-effective way to get started on your own garden, but borrowing it from the library also helps to promote sustainability by reducing the need for individuals to purchase their own tools. Plus, with the added benefit of being able to borrow books and other resources from the library, you'll have all the information you need to grow your green thumb and cultivate a thriving garden.Learn more about Gardening Kits | |
Seed LibraryThe seed library in Statesville is a wonderful resource for anyone interesting in gardening and connecting with other gardeners in the community. The seed library is stocked with a variety of heirloom seeds for anyone to “borrow”, no library card needed, to plant their garden and try out new seeds.
