| September 15th, 5:30pm | Regional Poetry Night Featuring Joyce Compton Brown & Alana Dagenhart | Join us for a night of poetry reading featuring two published authors from the Iredell County area. Joyce Compton Brown grew up in Troutman, North Carolina, with strong family roots. After her teaching career, she returned to Troutman. She will be reading from her fourth book, Hard-Packed Clay, which focuses on her Iredell roots. Statesville native Alana Dagenhart is a poet, artist, and teacher who likes to think about the intersection between science, art, and poetry. her first full length collection of poems, Yellow Leaves, was published by Redhawk Publications this year. |

British author and songwriter Steve Bonham is coming to America! Creator of over ten albums, two musicals, and several books, Steve is bringing his perspectives and guitar to America to present a joint concert with North Carolina songwriter Rob McHale. |
